About a year after their self titled ep, Absolem is at it again with "The Elastic Symphony." Though the psychedelic production remains present, Absolem took a more pop oriented style of writing drawing influences from bands such as The Kinks, and The Beatles; while also experimenting with instrumentation. Along with stylistic changes Absolem also become a more set lineup comprised of Jimmy Figliola, Jack Hubbell, and Pablo Cabibablo.
